Classical Music Meets Tango
Pablo Aguirre and Luis Rocco are closly bound up with each other by a long and productive artistic co-operation. Both were also members of the successful trio "La Posta", which existed for 12 years, released six records.
The duo' s repertoire uses exclusivly the works of the composer Aguirre. It's concept is characterized by the fusion of tango and chamber music and is entitled with "Classical Music Meets Tango".
On August 31th 2002, it was introduced to the public for the first time at the Salón Dorado of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires - with great success. They also stood out in their presentations during the "Tango as Chamber Music" series at the International Tango Festival of Buenos Aires and at the "Klassik trifft Tango" concerts in Berlin, Germany in 2006.
